Brands giving back the love this Pride Month

Since the start of June, it's been a rainbow explosion across the Internet. Not only are posts from Pride celebrations filling up feeds but also from brands. But, it's one thing to say you support and another backing those words with actions. Shop with pride and check out these brands contributing to various LGBTQ+ charities and organizations for Pride Month.

LEGO

Explore your inner child with LEGO's Everyone is Awesome set. The buildable display model, inspired by the iconic rainbow flag features 11 monochrome figures each with its own individual hairstyle and color. In a statement, Set designer Matthew Ashton, Vice President, Design said: “I wanted to create a model that symbolises inclusivity and celebrates everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love." Needless to say, you'll have some fun creating this beautiful scene.

Why you should buy: LEGO partners with Workplace Pride, Stonewall and Open for Business to help support LGBTQIA+ employees and allies across the company. It also supports UK-based charity, Diversity Role Models which works to educate children about inclusivity and empathy in order to build supportive and inclusive future generations.

Why you should buy: During the month of June, Skittles is donating $1 per pack purchased to GLAAD, the world's leading LGBTQ+ media advocacy group.

Burger King

This fast-food company went viral after hilariously shading Chick-fil-A on Twitter. In addition, the company says it will donate proceeds to the Human Rights Campaign during Pride Month. Keep your eye on this brands happenings during Pride Month festivities!

Why you should buy: The fast-food chain tweeted that it would donate 40 cents to the Human Rights Campaign for every Ch'King chicken sandwich sold in June.

Fabletics

Those with an active lifestyle can snag the Fabletics’ 2021 Pride Month collection. The 11-piece collection, called “United in Pride,” includes apparel in rainbow and tie-dye prints and features messages that express unity and inclusivity. The brand pledged $100,000 to GLSEN, which benefits LGBTQ students from grades K-12 and helps to make schools more inclusive and queer-friendly.
