A new queen has been added to the 'Drag Race UK' Hall of Fame

Season four of the popular drag competition show, ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ finally came to an end last week. Which means, the judges have crowned a new queen as winner!

The season came to an exciting conclusion with finalists Black Peppa, Cheddar Gorgeous, Danny Beard, and Jonbers Blonde competing to snatch the crown.

In the end, it all came down to a lip sync challenge. In the end, RuPaul named Danny Beard as the season four winner, adding them to the UK Hall of Fame.

In a video shared on social media, Beard shared their very first words as the current reigning champion of Drag Race UK.

“As you can imagine and probably see from my face, it was emotional. Honestly, I’ve got no words,” Beard explained. “Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout everything.”

The newly-crowned queen continued to express their feelings regarding their win.

“I hope that this moment opens doors for so many different kinds of drag on RuPaul’s Drag Race. I hope drag kings get the opportunity to shine. I want to see more trans contestants, more contestants of color. Drag is anything you want it to be, and this country has so many amazing drag performers from all walks of life. So I hope that this is the start of something new. Who would’ve thought that a hairy bearded b*tch like me would be able to do it?”

Danny is the first bearded queen to be featured on the UK installment of RuPaul's Drag Race— now they’re the first bearded winner in the history of the Drag Race franchise.

We can't wait to see what projects Beard is on to next! Let us know what you think about the finale results down below!
