The remainder of Dion’s North American leg of her “Courage World Tour” was unexpectedly cancelled due to health issues.
“I’ll be so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can’t wait to be back on stage again,” the singer wrote to her fans on Instagram.
Meanwhile the highly anticipated Caesar’s Palace residency, “Weekends With Adele” was put on hold after the British songstress announced the news on Jan. 20 via Instagram. She was meant to perform every weekend from January to April.
In a tearful video posted to her platform, the “Easy on Me” singer cited COVID-19 complications and delivery delays for the last-minute cancellations. However, other sources blame a combination of her disagreements with set designers and her relationship with boyfriend Rich Paul.
“I'm so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” said Adele.
Regardless of the actual reasons for the cancellation, fans worldwide there were plenty of disappointed Adele fans and frenzy of ticket sales and re-sales when the news came to light.
The 33-year-old artist is set to return to Britain to perform at the BRIT Awards next week.
