Now, the season has finally wrapped up, and the judges have officially crowned a new queen for the All Stars Hall of Fame.
BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!
Last week, host RuPaul officially crowned Ginger Minj as the season 10 winner. The victory comes after the queen competed across four seasons.
Ginger Minj took home the crown after a heated lip sync showdown against Season 14’s Jorgeous to “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls.
All Stars” Season 9 champion, Angeria Paris VanMicheals, presented the crown and scepter to the newly crowned queen. In addition to the crown, Ginger Minj took home $200,000 and a one year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics.
The win was a history-making one with Ginger being of Irish and Puerto Rican descent. It marks the first time a Latina takes home the All Stars crown.
However online, the freshly crowned queen has been receiving some backlash over her win. Some claim producers had Ginger favored to win since the beginning of the season. However, she isnt letting the negativity dull her time in the spotlight.
"I'm so focused on what's in front of me, the love and positivity. It's kind of a one-sided fight with all of these people. Let the monsters eat themselves, and I'll just continue to do what I do, and do it to the best of my ability," she says.
“Since we first met her, Ginger Minj has been the epitome of Drag Race excellence. And now she has the crown to prove it! May her star power continue to light up the world,” host and executive producer RuPaul said.
“And to her formidable and thrilling competitors, thank you for allowing us to fall even more deeply in love with each and every one of you. Long live the queens, and long live the Tournament of All Stars.”
