The biggest night in music is almost here and the full list of nominees for the coveted awards show has officially been announced!
The 2025 Grammy Award contenders are full of queer talent, several of them first-time nominees. No doubt about it, some of your favorite artists will be making history this coming ceremony.
Get to know the LGBTQ+ artists making a splash on the music industry’s biggest night:
Chappell Roan
Starting strong is Chappell Roan up for six awards. She’s nominated for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish earned a total of seven nominations at the annual ceremony. Her nominations this year include big categories like Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Charlie XCX
Also receiving seven nominations this year is everyone’s favorite Brat, Charlie XCX. In addition to a nod for Best Pop Duo Performance with Billie Eilish, Charlie is up for Album and Record of the Year.
Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan is returning to the Grammys after being nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording with “Got Me Started.”
Doechii
Rapper Doechii scored four nominations for the 2025 Grammys: Best New Artist, Best Mixed Recording, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album of the Year.
St. Vincent
Back again on the Grammy Stage is St. Vincent, who has received multiple nominations including Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance, and Best Alternative Music Album.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is up for two categories for her viral duet with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile.” One nod for Song of the Year and another for Best Pop Duo Performance.
Clario
The Best Alternative Album category at the 2025 Grammy Awards includes Clairo's latest album, Charm, in the nominations list.
Anitta
Anitta is making her Grammy debut in 2025 after being recognized for Best Latin Pop Album for “Funk Generation.”
Kehlani
Up for awards for Best R&B Song, Best Progressive R&B Album and Best Melodic Rap Performace is Kehlani.
Cardi B
Cardi returns to the coveted Awards ceremony after being recognized for Best Rap Performance for Enough (Miami).
