Season 17 queen Arrietty has now revealed even more drama after confessing she ‘threw things’ backstage after she was eliminated from the show.
While speaking to Joseph Shepherd on his Exposed: After Dark interview series, Arrietty has revealed that there was even more “unhinged” behaviour that didn’t make the edit.
“Y’all saw how unhinged I was. Y’all didn’t see the clips that they cut out.” Arrietty continued, “[They cut] a lot. I was throwing myself on the ground, I was crawling… bananas.”
Her elimination was already filled with controversy when Arrietty was eliminated after stealing several jokes from Jewels Sparkles, and left season winner Onya Nurve a shady mirror message.
“As one smelly b***h to another, Onya, please brush your teeth,” Arrietty wrote on the mirror. Many queens and viewers didnt take the message kindly and condemned the queen’s words.
“I was even worse [than Pangina crying after her elimination on UK Vs The World]. I was violent worse. I was throwing things. Anything I saw. Boom, boom. Doing a cartwheel, fell. I feel things. I’m an emotional creature, but that day, and that moment specifically, everything was so heightened and I didn’t know how to deal with it.”
However, Arrietty has since revealed that the two queens have squashed their beef.
But the drama didnt stop there for Arrietty.
Over the past week, Irene casually revealed that she used to be Arrietty's drag mother and vaguely cited that they were no longer related due to a situation that involved "money," "character," and/or a "man."
Arrietty clapped back with X posts in which she accused Irene of "saying and doing racist shit" and alleged that Irene slept with "prepubescent children."
But on May 22, Arrietty penned a lengthy statement apologizing for the accusations she had made against Irene.
“I deeply regret responding impulsively and acknowledge that what I said (particularly the insinuations I made) caused harm. After a conversation with Irene herself, we decided a public statement was necessary. I want to take full responsibility for the language I used, including the words ‘prepubescent’ and ‘racist.”
‘While they were intended as exaggerations, I now understand that they were not only inappropriate, but also deeply hurtful and unnecessary.
“To Irene the Alien, and to the wider LGBTQIA+ community, I offer my sincerest apologies. In a time when our community already faces immense external pressure and hostility, it’s even more important that we show up for one another with respect and compassion. I take full accountability for my actions, and I am committed to doing better. Thank you for reading, and for holding me accountable.”
