Bob the Drag Queen helps kickstart Madonna's Celebration Tour

The Queen of Pop, Madonna kicked off long-awaited Celebration tour in London at the O2 Arena on Saturday, October 14.

Audiences were in for a special treat while attending the opening show. RuPaul’s Drag Race season eight winner Bob the Drag Queen served as a special guest and helped paid homage to Madonna’s iconic “Vogue” performance look from the 1990 MTV Awards.

She opening the show in an elegant ballgown complete with a Marie Antoinette-esque wig. Bob told the enraptured audience: “Damn, I look good!

“Ladies and gentleman, theys and thems, you’ve been waiting a long time for this one. Some of y’all have waited around 40 years for this, as a matter of fact.

Later on, Bob returned to the stage to join Madonna for an fierce performance of “Vogue,” clad in a bedazzled black suit and silver hat. 

The season 8 RuPaul’s Drag Race winner posted a photo of her and Madonna in her story and captioned the post: “Some moments will stay with you forever.” 

Madonna also dedicated a performance of her 1986 power ballad “Live to Tell” to all those who died during the HIV/AIDS crisis. 

Trinity the Tuck later revealed on Instagram that Madonna used a picture of her mother who died due to complications of AIDS during the touching tribute. 

"The Aids Memorial contacted me directly to see if I was interested in allowing her to use my mother's photo. Of course, I was delighted to be asked. It's amazing that Madonna is highlighting all of these people whose lives were lost in memory of them for her entire tour!"
