While discussing the singer's morning routines, Mama Ru asked if she normally wears heels as she cooks. In response, the "9 to 5" singer promptly answered: “I always wear my high heels. Don’t you?”

“No. That’s the thing: There are similarities in what we do, but I take all that stuff off,” said Ru.

Dolly replied: “Well, I don’t. I have to always stay ready—street ready, I always say. I have to keep my makeup on and keep my hair done.

“Like, when I’m in L.A.—I’ve told you about it—if it’s going to the earthquake, if we get an earthquake, I’m not running out in the street looking like you look now.”

Of course, the "Twitterverse" was more than eager to poke fun at the conversation

For others, well, they were just excited to see the natural chemistry between the two legendary stars.

The two pop culture legends also went on to discuss everything from Dolly's new Christmas album to their wig collections.

Later, RuPaul and Dolly bond over their admiration for Miley Cyrus.

"...It is so clear that this girl is such a superstar," said Ru after talking about Miley's new video for "Midnight Sky."

"I’ve always loved her since she was little, and I knew she was special," said Parton. "She just had a light about her. Her sparkle, and her smile, and her eyes were always full of wonder."

They also discussed Dolly’s latest Netflix project, Christmas on the Square, a musical film just in time for the holidays. Lucky for us, it's available to stream right now.

It is safe to say that we definitely stan this kind of friendship! Read the complete interview here.
