It's a drag queen New Year's Eve with drag royalty from RuPaul's Drag Race!

Drag queen to host New Year's live stream

This year, New Year's Eve is bound to look different. With social distancing guidelines still in place, public gatherings to ring in the new year will be virtually impossible. However with PEG, it's going to be a drag queen New Year's Eve!

On Monday (Nov. 30), Producer Entertainment Group announced, "PEG Presents New Years Queens: Goodbye 2020," taking place around the globe. To say "good riddance" to the madness of this year, a panel of 16 drag queens will host the 11-hour celebration from New York City.

The group of RuPaul's Drag Race stars is making sure that our celebrations are still possible— at least virtually anyways.

Viewers can expect appearances from Alaska, Bob the Drag Queen, Katya, Miz Cracker, Peppermint, and Trixie Mattel.

In addition, stars performing include BenDeLaCreme, the Boulet Brothers, Divina De Campo, Ginger Minj, Jinkx Monsoon, Jujubee, Manila Luzon, BeBe Zahara Benet, Sharon Needles, and Trinity The Tuck. You can join all of the queens for fashion and comedy filled entertainment on December 31.

"We are excited to be partnering with Sessions and getting so many of our artists together for an unforgettable New Years' Eve party!" said David Charpentier, Founder and Talent Manager, Producer Entertainment Group.

"We are thrilled to be the exclusive host for The Marathon New Year's Eve Livestream," said Sessions co-founder Tim Westergren. "This promises to be the most interactive, most global, and certainly the most colorful party across every continent and every time zone to ring in the new year. Audiences everywhere will have the opportunity to enjoy and engage with a talented lineup of drag artists from around the world."

Celebrate the holidays from home

The event is a great way to get into the holiday spirit from the safety of your home. In fact, it's the perfect excuse to stay in your pj's and crack open a bottle of your favorite wine! Drag queen and New Year's Eve —what's more to ask for?!

In a statement, Peppermint shared, “2020 has been a rough year, to say the least, especially considering many performers and drag entertainers all over the world have been out of work. It's an honor to host this event with such remarkable talent. I find it poetic that we are able to finally turn the page on 2020 as we count down together for this fabulous New Year's extravaganza.”

Trixie Mattel adds, “Let's basically celebrate the end of 2020. I will be wearing a nice dress and trying to put blush on Bob.”

Here's to hoping for a better 2021!

Tickets for the fabulous event starts at $39 and the most exclusive viewing packages range from $80.00-$499.99.
