In a final lip sync extravaganza for the crown, finalists Monét X Change and Jinkx Monsoon battled it out to Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish.” The prize you ask? The prestigious title of Queen of All Queens and cash prize of $200,000.
Ultimately, Jinkx Monsoon was deemed worthy and emerged as this seasons victor. In a post to Instagram, the newly crowned queen celebrated the news.
As for the Queen of “She Already Done Had Herses,” Jaida, Raja, Yvie, and The Vivienne all competed in a lip sync smackdown of their own.
After Yvie’s victory over The Vivienne to Salt-N-Pepa’s“Push It,” and Raja’s win over Jaida to “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” by Deniece William, the two remaining queens faced off to a wig flying round to Eurythmics’ “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves.”
After the jaw dropping performance, it was announced that Raja reigned supreme and took home the title.
"Thank you…from the bottom of my heart," Raja wrote alongside her post. "Cheers to #thesupreme @thejinkx and my amazing sisters @monetxchange @trinitythetuck @sheacoulee @oddlyyvie @thevivienne_ @jaidaehall it was a ground breaking season!"
Shortly after the season finale aired, Ru took to her Instagram to reflect on the duration of the season including the queens who served all competition long.
“To all the winning queens that came back to slay, thank you for giving us the best drag show that the world has ever seen,” she wrote.
“Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, The Vivienne, Trinity the Tuck and Yvie Oddly – your names will be forever synonymous with grace and excellence.
“Your contribution to queer people everywhere can never be fully repaid, but I hope you feel the love that flows from our hearts to yours. I am proud to know each of you, and beyond grateful that the future of drag rests in your capable and fiercely manicured hands.”
