Drag Race Down Under vs The World reveals a mole among cast

Episode two of the newly premiered Drag Race Down Under vs the World has the queens and viewers absolutely gagged with the twist of the year.

Host and judge of the Australian spin-off surprised everyone, including the cast, when she revealed the longtime Ru girl was not a contestant–but a mole instead!

The revelation came after Visage gathered the queens under the guise of a Kylie Minogue challenge, notifying them that they would be “in front of an extremely special guest judge, and that extra, extra special someone is... in this room right now!”

Raven then stepped forward as Visage made the announcement.  “Joining the judges panel tomorrow will be: Raven.”

She went on to clarify that “Raven is not — I repeat — is not a contestant,” and that she “asked Raven to be my mole to get to know you all as quickly as possible, and now that assignment has come to an end.

“I’m not happy,” Nicole Paige Brooks said in a confessional, making her annoyance of the big twist known. “Yeah, I’m not excited about this now that she’s revealed as a f---ing judge. What was all that bonding? Was it all fake again?”

Nicole would later be sent home after Art Simone saved Coco Jumbo from elimination.

Raven was first introduced to the Drag Race franchise all the way back in season two on the American version of the show. She then went on to compete in All Stars season one, ultimately placing.

She has also made a name for herself off stage with her acclaimed makeup skills, even becoming RuPaul’s makeup artist during season nine. In 2020, Raven snagged a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup.
