Drag Race' Espana finally revealed their cast of competitors for the debut season! In light of the first ever season, the cast will feature 10 diverse queens vying for the title. So this includes a fashion designer, several musical artists, a few beauty queens, a doll named after "The Macarena," and a non-binary, indigenous ballroom performer.
As previously announced, Drag Race España will be hosted by Spanish drag superstar Supremme de Luxe, with Javier Calvo, Javier Ambrossi, and Ana Locking serving on the panel.
“It is such an honor to welcome Spain to the Drag Race family, partner with Atres, and bring the fierce fabulous glamour of Spanish queens to new audiences around the world on WOW Presents Plus,” said World of Wonder co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey in a statement. “In these dark and challenging times, we believe people need Drag Race’s joy, laughter, and heart now more than ever.”
Even more, we finally have a better picture of when we expect the series to air. According to EW, by the time May comes, the show will premiere.
While the lineup for guest judges is still a secret, we do know that Veneno breakout star Paca la Piraña will be making a special appearance.
Following Holland and RuPaul’s Drag Race U.K., the Espanõl extravaganza will stream exclusively on WOW Presents Plus in the U.S. and other international markets, day-and-date with the Spanish airing on ATRESplayer PREMIUM.
But while you wait, say 'Hola' and meet these fresh new faces ready to strut their stuff on the runway!
