Drag Race España season six make history with "full-time" drag king contestant

Drag Race España is bringing in 12 new drag artists for its upcoming sixth season, even making history with the franchise's first “full-time” drag king entering the Werkroom.
Supremme de Lux returns as host and judge for the upcoming season. Other judges helping determine Spain’s Next Drag Superstar this season include Javier Ambrossi, Ana Locking, and Javier Calvo.
Queens from across the country will prove they have what it takes to make it in the competition full of iconic lip-syncs, formidable fashion challenges, and high-stakes acting tests.
Meet all the season six contestants ready to prove they have the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to take home the crown.
Alex Marteen (35, Barcelona)
Translated Bio: "Àlex Marteen is a “respectable lady from the Eixample Dret” (“The one on the right, the one for rich ladies”) and defines herself as a “bourgeois drag queen, divine and super-trash”.
Alma Desoul (35, Málaga)
Translated Bio: "She's the flamenco dancer of season 6. She comes from Málaga, from a humble, working-class neighborhood. Alma has been a drag queen since she was little and is "more from the neighborhood than a playground." Her drag is chameleon-like, and you never know what she's going to do next."
Buba Anorex (32, Madrid)
Translated Bio: Buba Anorex defines herself in three words: “A DIFFERENT STYLE, GIRL.” She’s the “badass brat” of season 6. She’s the drag daughter of Chanel Anorex and wants to make the family name famous. She’s coming with her own brand to create “a cult: Bubism,” and she’d love to do it with expressions like “bubícate” (get bubi) or “don’t say bubadas.”
Coco Luna (32, Venezuela)
Translated Bio: "She's the bombshell of season 6: 'The diva, the badass, the queen..." Hailing from Margarita Island in Venezuela, she commands applause wherever she goes. With 14 years of experience, she defines her drag persona as: femininity, beauty, glamour, pure talent, extravagance, spectacularity, excellence, and top-tier performance."
Joan Chevalier (27, Málaga)
Translated Bio: The little princess of season 6. Although she's from Málaga, she's also from Córdoba. She's fabulous, fun, colorful, glamorous, and "wears Ambi Pur perfume." She's not afraid to admit she's dyslexic and that no one understands her when she speaks. She's really looking forward to the sewing challenge because she makes everything herself.
Kim Miller (22, Vigo)
Translated Bio: “I am a tango dancer.” That’s how Kim Miller, the “essence of drag” from northern Spain, introduces herself. She comes from Galicia, “land of historical figures like Francisco Franco and María Patiño.” She defines herself as energetic, beautiful, very absurd, and a dancer. Her name comes from combining the singer Kim Petras with her own surname: Miller."
Liak (33, Murcia)
Translated Bio: "He defines himself as a “fucking dream.” His drag persona is constructed with luxury, stone, and lots of feathers, although beneath all that ostentation lies a specialist in aesthetic medicine and a “posh” (a derogatory term for someone from the upper class)."
Liz Dust (39, Valencia)
Translated Bio: "She defines herself as a 360-degree transvestite because she's an actress "who could be at Cannes," she does weddings, baptisms, communions, funerals, and even charges for tuxedos. Her biggest role models are Maria Callas, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, Marina Abramović, and Tilda Swinton."
Maitetxu Mia (47, Guipúzcoa)
Translated Bio: "Although she works in Barcelona, she's from Zumaia and proudly represents the Basque Country. She's a true "Euskándalo!" and has come to translate everything so that Ana Locking can go from saying "Ovah" to saying "Oso ondo".
She is all about “having a good time, joking around, drinking beers with friends and having sawdust in her underwear,” although she also says that “northern humor is hard to grasp because it’s a bit tough, but once you get into it, you can’t let it go.”
Marcus Massalami (35, Valencia)
Translated Bio: From Valencia comes the first Drag King of 'Drag Race Spain', declaring that "it's about time we saw some real chest hair." He goes from the most refined to the most grotesque. His role models are stylish gentlemen like Tino Casal, David Bowie, and his father.
He must be the next Spanish drag superstar because "it's time for a king to conquer this space and bring back Drag King fantasy."
Sorny (31, Madrid)
Translated Bio: Although she's from Barcelona, she lives in Madrid. Her drag persona is "an emotional state" somewhere between "quite sad and quite horny": Sorny. Her drag is a concept, a carnival, and feels like a circus tent, since she "dresses up out of necessity." Her aesthetic draws from everyday life and traumas, because Sorny sees "the beauty of healing through creation." Her strengths are: lip-syncing and having no shame.
Vanessa Artiles (33, Las Palmas)
Translated Bio: Vanessa Artiles is the first "witch" to enter 'Drag Race Spain' and she's here to spread palo santo throughout the workshop. She calls herself "the MacGyver of gay men and magic in season 6," because she throws knives, does tricks with coins and cards, and "anything you can imagine."
