Drag Race Philippines Slayasian Royale has officially announced a winner!
The four remaining queens of the finale, Viñas DeLuxe, Brigiding, Arizona Brandy and Suki Doll took to the runway one last time for a ball and talent extravaganza.
Ultimately, it was Brigiding that proved she had what it takes to wear the crown and title of Philippines Next Drag Superstar. Additionally, Suki Doll was named the season’s Miss Congeniality.
“I am so grateful and happy to be sharing this moment with my very good sister, who’s also inspiring, who’s also loving, and honest and true,” Brigiding said.
She is part of a drag trio called Divine Divas, along with Viñas DeLuxe and Precious Paula Nicole—the latter, who won the inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines.
"This is the testament that learning is the new winning. Please, don't be afraid to share your story and do not give up on your dreams because dreams don't expire," she said in her winning speech.
Aside from a crown and scepter, Brigiding also won a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics and a 2-million Philippine peso prize.
The season was an epic one as it followed a new format where your fave Asian queens across the global franchise came together in a battle royale.
The show debuted as WOW Presents Plus’ most-watched premiere in its history, and its first episode was dedicated to the late Jiggly Caliente.
A powerhouse panel of judges also helped draw in viewers. From Sasha Colby, Marina Summers, and Jimbo, to Pangina Heals and Alyssa Edwards, among other big names, they kept viewers fed each week.
