WOW Presents Plus recently surprised Drag Race enthusiasts with a brand new spin-off of an Asian All-Stars.
Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale will feature Asian queens from around the globe to battle it out for the crown! This includes queens from past seasons of the hit series Drag Race Phillippines.
“This new version of Drag Race shines a spotlight on Asian drag as never before, celebrating its culture, history, and creativity in a unique battle royale,” said Drag Race producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.
Sources say the season will be hosted in the Philippines for an All-Stars-style season of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
Not only will the country serve as background for showcasing the incredible talent but also some stunning visuals of the culture.
While fans are still in the dark about the show’s cast, hosts, and potential guest judges, we do know the series will be available to stream later this year.
We’ve previously seen some incredible Asian queens make it big during their debuts on the hit reality television show. Names like Ongina, Arizona Brandy, Raja, Aurora Matrix, Kandy Zyanide, and Jujubee should ring a bell!
How could we forget Taiwanese-American queen, Nymphia Wind taking home last season’s crown? And the year before that, Sasha Colby, who is native Hawaiian, won season 15.
Drag Race Philippines made history for being the first franchise spin-off to have two openly trans judges sitting simultaneously at the judges’ table.
