On Sunday, RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 contestant, Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté announced to her followers that she has been diagnosed with intestinal cancer.

She shared the news on Instagram, writing: "Recently I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma. A type of Cancer in the Smaller intestine.

Fortunately, Kornbread revealed "I'm 100% fine and everything is in the early stages so I'll be back to my normal self in no time. Absolutely curable!"

Toward the end of her message, she pleaded to all of her followers, regardless of their age, to get regular checkups.

“I say this to let everyone know that no matter how young you are PLEASE GET REGULAR check ups. I'm glad I caught mine at this stage.”

After posting, many fans shared their best wishes—including some fellow Drag Race queens.

Drag Race alums like Kahmora Hall, Mayhem Miller, Trinity The Tuck and Raja all sent their support.

Kornbread is set to appear in the upcoming film Hocus Pocus 2 as a drag version of Mary Sanderson, alongside Ginger Minj and Kahmora Hall.

Kornbread, along with other cast mates made herstory during season 14 of RuPaul's Drag Race, which is regarded as one of the most inclusive seasons of the show.

Kornbread and Kerry Colby, were the first two openly transgender competitors on the show. Following the premiere, Bosco, Jasmine Kennedy and winner Willow Pill also came out as transgender. Additionally, Maddy Morphosis was the first cisgender, heterosexual competitor to be featured.
