Raven, who is best known for slaying looks and her gag-worthy makeup work from the second season of Drag Race as well as the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is excited to begin the series casting search. As host of Painted with Raven, she will go on the search for the next makeup superstar.

“Makeup is something I’ve always been very passionate about,” Raven said in a release. “It is what’s ultimately started me on my drag career. I’m so happy to be hosting something I absolutely love to celebrate…a reality competition about FIERCE MAKEUP!”

Raven, aka David Petruschin, made her debut on the show’s second season. However, she ultimately lost, finishing as the runner-up to Tyra Sanchez. She returned for the first season of All Stars, where she was runner-up a second time, losing to eventual winner Chad Michaels.

Since then, the performer has worked as RuPaul‚Äôs personal makeup artist since season 9, replacing Mathu Andersen, and has served as the show‚Äôs creative director since its 10th season and on All Stars since its third.

Raven has made several appearances on 'Drag Race' one the years and even appeared in the the U.K. spinoff.

Last year, the queen also took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup for a Multi-Camera Series or Special (Non-Prosthetic). While accepting the award at the Creative Arts Emmys, the makeup diva told viewers to keep themselves “fierce and fabulous.”

While artists from across the country will compete for the crown, they will do so virtually. During the series, contestants face weekly challenges to test their beauty skills. Similar to Drag Race, Raven and her series panel will judge each look. But, whoever claws their way to the top will receive a cash prize of $25,000.

RuPaul is executive producer of the series along with long with Randy Barbato, Fenton Bailey and Tom Campbell of World of Wonder. Presently, the plan is to debut the show sometime later this year.
