Drag Race UK moves to WOW Presents Plus, teases All Stars season

It was announced on Wednesday that Drag Race UK would no longer be airing on the BBC and would be moving to the WOW Presents Plus streaming service.
Outlets claim the BBC cut off the program after a series of financial cuts.
“As the BBC continues to navigate significant financial pressures and deliver the savings required of us, we have had to make some very difficult choices, none of which have been taken lightly,” a spokesperson said to The Sun.
“We can therefore confirm together with World of Wonder that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will be leaving the BBC and moving to WOW Presents Plus,” they continued on.
The series will make its move to the streaming platform following its eighth season, which premiered on September 3. It launched with much success, even making it the franchise’s highest-rated premiere to date.

This herstoric season will be available virtually globally on WOW Presents Plus and, for the first time, in the UK where members will also be able to stream all 8 past seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK plus all 3 seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World!”
Drag Race UK aired its first season in 2019 and featured judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
However, it's been confirmed that the show will make its return sometime in Fall 2027 with the first-ever “ RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: All Stars.”
The season will feature a cast of queens who have all graced the Main Stage in the past and are back for another go at the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
