Drag Race UK reveals season eight queens

Twelve new queens are entering the Werkroom for a chance at stardom! Drag Race UK is back with an exciting line-up of personas prepared to fight tooth and nail for the coveted crown.

We are set for 10 weeks filled with kooky challenges and shady confessionals.

Returning judges, including host RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton, will help determine which queen will receive the title of UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar. Also up for grabs is an impressive cash prize of £25,000.

The roster of celebrity guest judges and appearances will be released at a later date.

Meet the queens below:

Alik (29)

Bringing a little punk, a little fashion, and a little personality to the season eight crew is Brighton queen Alik.

Not only is Alik competing for herself, but also for their partner Scaredy Cat, who competed back in season one of Drag Race UK.

“I'm taking you to the dark side this season, and I know exactly what I'm here to do.”

Anita Piss (37)

“Anita piss, Anita crown, Anita get £25,000.” This Birmingham queen is ready to show up and show out this season of Drag Race UK. Tired of the corporate 9-5 workday, Anita decided it was time for a change. Then came drag.

“The girls aren't just about the look,” Anita says in the introductory promos.

“That's boring. I want to do something that's grungy and a little bit dirty. Something more than just a pretty face and a nice dress. Sorry.”

Coral-Hole Mandi (27)

This queen with a marine biology background calls herself the “Bikini Bottom Bimbo from Belfast” and is very much inspired by the sea.

In describing a Coral-Hole Mandi show, she says to expect horror icons and rock and emo themes. “I like freaking them out.”

Camp is something Coral likes to “switch up” constantly in her performances. “I'm excited to represent for a different variety of Irish drag.”

The Delta Quadrant (32)

The Deborah Meaden of drag herself is The Delta Quadrant and she’s got a job to do: snatch the crown. Her style of drag includes character comedy hosting, physical humor and parody songs.

She says you wont find her without two wardrobe staples: her colorful pantsuits and lively bob wig.

“I represent a type of drag that isnt really seen on Drag Race. It is a risky business strategy.” Lets hope the risk is worth the reward!

Flesh (25)

Self-proclaimed “Supermodel of Soho” Flesh is in high demand!“ She credits her biggest influences as mainly 90s supermodels.

But don't let her beauty fool you— Flesh proudly reveals she is an Oxford graduate and that there is more that meets the eye.

“I am very competitive with myself. I am very unbothered by the people around me to be honest, and I don't care for their opinions.”

KY Kelly (42)

From Staffordshire, this cabaret comedian proves there’s more to the drag scene than the fashion queens. “I’m bold, I’m brash, I’m sassy and I do not suffer fools gladly.”

“Don't mess with KY unless you want the wrath of KY’s tongue. Some people have been burned, some people have been pleasured.”

Lucky Roy Singh (36)

“Your Maharani has arrived!”

Originally from Manchester, Lucky Roy Singh is the first South Asian queen on Drag Race UK. She draws inspiration from her culture and heritage and the Bollywood aesthetic.

“I’m making history by being here, and you know what? She’s going to keep making history. It's gonna get spicy, and I’m taking the crown.”

Ma_danni_x (48)

With 20 years in the London drag scene , its no wonder why Ma_danni has such an impressive resume. As a professional dancer she woked with Cliff Richard, Ruby Wax, Lily Savage and George Michael just to name a few.

“Drag is a passion for me,” said the drag veteran. “ My drag in three words is glamourous, colorful and fabulous.”

Mocha (26)

“Just like the coffee, I’ll give you the sh*ts!” This Essex queen moved to London and is dominating the scene there. “I'm fashionable and funny. What more could you want?”

In her introduction, Mocha reveals she creates all her looks despite loathing sewing and has auditioned for Drag Race UK eight times!

Naya Thorn (24)

Theatrical queen Naya Thorn isn't taking any bull this season. What others call “dramatics,” she calls “passion.” From the tellies to the stage, Naya aims to be seen EVERYWHERE!

“I have very, very high standards. Do I always live up to them myself? No, but I have them for other people.”

Paris Baby (27)

Deeming herself the UK’s British Baby Barbie, Paris is coming in hot with the shade thrown at season 7’s cast. Known for bringing the drama, Paris says that while she doesn't actively look to stir things up, “My existence stirs things up.”

“The girls have been waiting for the UK to have a real villain, so here I am!”

Tequila Thirst (39)

“Are you feeling thirsty?!” Tequila Thirst has come to intoxicate us all!

In her introduction, Tequila tells us she has a background in corporate and finance but couldn't be more opposite in drag. She reveals she is a host, a singer, and a dancer with a sunny persona.

“I just want to bring that light to the world. We need it right now!”
