Drag Race UK vs The World cast officially revealed

The cast for Drag Race UK vs The World season 3 has officially been announced and features a fierce roster of queens returning to the franchise. 

According to BBC, one the line this season is a cash prize of €50,000, and the title of Queen of the Mother-tucking World. 

Season three of the series features a cast of international queens, including three Drag Race UK stars, who will face off against one another in powerhouse challenges and performances. 

UK's Tia Kofi won Season 2 of Drag Race UK vs The World and UK's Blu Hydrangea won Season 1.

 

Get to know the season’s 10 new competitors below hoping to join their ranks:

Fontana (Drag Race Sweden Season 1) 

Fontana was born in Brazil and moved to Sweden where they solidified her career in drag. The Swedish-Brazilian beauty calls their drag energetic and is ready to go for gold this season. 

“I’m not here to play dirty, but I am here to take out the trash. I am ready to fight…”

Gawdland (Drag Race Thailand Season 3)

Gawdland made a name for themselves on Drag Race Thailand for their “loud” and “crazy” drag style and made it to the finals. They were also praised for their high makeup and performance throughout their season. 

“This is not RuPaul’s best friend race… I’m here to win.”

Kate Butch (Drag Race UK Season 5)

Comedy queen Kate Bush placed fifth overall during her appearance on season 5 of Drag Race UK. Master of acting and satire, Kate Bush is coming back to teach the rest of the class how it’s done. 

“I’ve done it all! The world is my oyster!”

Mariah Balenciaga (Drag Race season 3, All Stars 5)

Drag Race legend first appeared on Drag Race season 3 and while she failed to snatch the crown that season. She came back for an All Stars 5 appearance but didn't stick the landing there either. Now, she plans to “go all the way” this time around. 

“Y’all are going to get Mariah 3.0,” she said. “I don’t care what it takes, I’m doing it!”

Melinda Verga (Canada’s Drag Race Season 4)

Melinda brings some old-school charm to the competition. Remembered for his incredible Snatch Game and comedic chops, this Canadian queen is back with a vengeance and a fighting spirit this season. 

"I'm ready for some backstabbing and manipulation, I'll send these b*****s home."

Minty Fresh (Drag Race Philippines Season 1)

Fashion and a stunning face card is what sealed Minty Fresh in the semi-finals on Drag Race Philippines. And she’s taking both with her on her next Drag Race journey. 

"It's a full production, baby. You'll be obsessed. I'm not a showgirl, I'm a headliner."

Serena Morena (Drag Race Mexico Season 1)

Hailing from Mexico, Serena Morena proved she had charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent but it wasn't enough to take home the coveted title. Back for another shot, Serena vows to make it count. 

A warning for the competition: “"I'm a nasty lady. I'm Mexican. Don't mess with me!"

Sminty Drop (Drag Race UK Season 4)

Lancashire queen Sminty Drop made herself a meme with her “sad-twerk exit” on Drag Race UK season 4. 

Now, her charsima and fashionista personality will help her take home the crown-hopefully celebrating her victory with a “happy-twerk” this time. 

The Only Naomy (Drag Race Germany Season 1)

German queen Naomy is planning to serve the audience supermodel this season. Armed with their killer makeup artistry and high drag aesthetic, Naomy is aiming to send all of the others home packing. 

“Don’t mess with me,” Naomy warned. “I might be the villain of the season.”

Zariah Zapanta (Drag Race UK Season 6)

Filipino beauty queen Zahirah competed on Drag Race UK season 6 is loud and proud and bringing to the Werkroom! Back for round 2, Zariah plans to prove to the world she is in it to win it. 

“I ain’t scared of none of these girls,” Zahirah said. “This time, I’m ready to fight tooth and nail."

The new season will debut on January 27 on BBC Three in the UK.
