Drag Race winners reunite ahead of season 18 premiere

To help ring in a brand new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Mama Ru got a little help from the winning queens of the past. The herstoric red carpet reunion at the premiere brought together 16 past winners from the US version of the show.
Among them were Bebe Zahara Benet (Season 1), Aquaria (Season 10), Jaida Essence Hall (Season 12), Symone (Season 13), Willow Pill (Season 14), Sasha Colby (Season 15), Nymphia Wind (Season 16) and Onya Nurve (Season 17).
From the All Stars winners was Alyssa Edwards (Global All Stars winner), Angeria Paris VanMicheals (All Stars 9), Ginger Minj (All Stars 10), Jimbo (All Stars 8), Kylie Sonique Love (All Stars 6), and Monét X Change (All Stars 4).
The list of queens vying for the coveted season 18 crown include Athena Dion, Briar Blush, Ciara Myst, Darlene Mitchell, DD Fuego, Discord Addams, Jane Don't, Juicy Love Dion, Kenya Pleaser, Mandy Mango, Mia Starr, Myki Meeks, Nini Coco, and Vita VonTesse Starr.
The grand event was held at the Aqua Room in New York City and was hosted by Drag Race judges Ts Madison and Ross Mathews, alongside Variety's Marc Malkin.
A star studded roster of guest judges was just announced too. Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, music producer Benny Blanco, Project Runway’s Law Roach, Jamal Sims, and Dove Cameron are set to sit on the panel.
Also making appearances throughout the season are Zara Larsson, Brooke Shields, Iman, Atsuko Okatsuka, Amy Taylor, Annaleigh Ashford, Danielle Pinnock, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Sherman, and Leland.
Season 18 of RuPaul’s Drag Race premieres Friday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
