Drag Race's Salina EsTitties to compete out of Drag on Big Brother season 28

The cast for Season 28 of Big Brother has been officially revealed, featuring a popular RuPaul’s Drag Race queen entering the house for a chance at $750,000.

Among the 14 newly introduced contestants are Rocket Scientist Mallory Aurichio, MMA fighter Kamuela Kirk, American Idol competitor Lyric Medeiros, and corporate gameshow host Melody Morris.

One contestant, however, you may not recognize as none other than drag queen Salina EsTitties from Drag Race season 15. His official bio for the season reads that the 35-year-old is a professional drag queen. While he is originally from San Francisco, he is now based in West Hollywood, California.

Jason De Puy will be competing in Big Brother out of drag and says he is putting his Drag Race reading skills to use while on the show.

“It feels crazy to be on Big Brother. I’m low-key a super fan; I’ve been watching since season 16, so I’ve been around.”

“I’m gonna say that I’m a professional drag queen and I’m gonna read the room to see if anyone clocks my tea, and if they clock me, I’m just gonna be like, ‘Yeah, I was on Drag Race,'” Puy said.

On RuPaul’s Drag Race, Salina was praised for her campy comedic gift and cholita Latin style when she debuted on RuPaul's Drag Race season 15. She just went on to compete on All Stars 11 in the pink bracket, but was eliminated in 6th place.

The drag artist has some history with the CBS franchise when she helped promote the series in 2024 alongside other content creators who were invited to “enter” the Big Brother house for season 26.

"1st drag queen in the @bigbrothercbs house," Salina wrote on Instagram after an exciting visit tot he iconic set.

Puy’s casting comes after Aussie queen Courtney Act was cast on the UK version of Big Brother and ended up winning the 21st season back in 2018.

"Big Brother" season 28 premieres on Thursday, July 9, on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
