Fans rally behind Jason De Puy after Big Brother tea party confrontation

There’s tension in the Big Brother house after Sunday’s episode, when during a tea party Head of Household Kamu Kirk called out Jason De Puy, accusing him of playing dirty.
The conversation played out on the live feeds when Kirk revealed his grievances with the conflicting promises Jason was supposedly making throughout the house. When Jason denied it, the MMA fighter refused to say where he had heard rumors of the alliances.
Jason didn't back down; he boldly accused Kamu of throwing him under the bus without offering any kind of proof.
After the confrontation, the houseguests scattered, leaving him completely alone outside, which seemed to reflect the state of his relationships within the house.
Kamu was already under fire for his seemingly anti- drag comments made earlier in the season. He was also caught on camera talking about his plans extending to outside the reality television show, effectively confirming his targeted attacks on the Drag Race alum.
"I'm gonna blow his whole spot up. I'm going to end that man's whole career," Kamu said.
Fans immediately took to socials to express their disgust for the scene that played out.
Fellow drag artist Briar Blush penned an X post about her theories why queens are the first to go home on reality shows. “Salina (Jason) in Big Brother is literally a prime example of people having such unspoken homophobia that they from the jump, othered her and men put targets on her back unfairly. “
Former Big Brother contestant Frankie Grande said, “Yeah… you didn’t end his career, sweetheart. And if this country were different, I’m sure your pathetic attempt to kick a gay when he’s down would have ended yours. But you will be welcomed back to MMA with open arms. Coward. “
"Hey, so that was retraumatizing. Stick in there, Jason…we LOVE you,” said Big Brother season 24 winner Taylor Hale.
