Former Drag Race judge gets backlash after endorsing Trump

A former RuPaul’s Drag Race judge is getting major backlash after publicly endorsing Donald Trump for president and slamming Kamala Harris and her campaign.

“I would love to see an intelligent and capable woman President some day, Kamala Harris is not her,” Rice wrote on X.

“There’s only one obvious candidate to rebuild America and stabilize the rest of the world and that is President Donald J. Trump.”

Several RuPaul’s Drag Race queens have since rebuttled Rice’s comments. “You’re really unhinged” replied The Vivienne. Meanwhile, Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney pulled a Mama Ru and told Rice to, “Sashay away.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic Rice previously  made tweets opposing vaccines, having previously claimed, “there’s no difference between injecting disinfectant and a random vaccine.”

A more recent post included a collage of AI-generated image of Harris with a gun in her mouth and a screenshot of an article claiming children who received the COVID-19 vaccine were “4423% more likely to die”.

Prior to becoming a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race for its first six seasons, Rice competed as a contestant on Project Runway’s second season.

In a separate tweet, Rice also called Harris “r*tarded” is “offensive to r*tards.”

Needless to say, Trump’s campaign has issued various attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, not to mention the proposed manifesto named Project 2025.

The publication was created by the right-wing Heritage Foundation, threatens to take away anti-discrimination policies, mainly LGBTQ+ people.

The identifies the “toxic normalisation of transgenderism with drag queens and pornography invading school libraries” as one of the nations biggest problems.
