Episode 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 9 saw the queens do the roast challenge. However, one queen’s performance is not going over smoothly online. Gottmik is accused of pulling most of her set from comedian Nikki Glaser.
“As drag queens, we need to come together to support the freedom of speech, the freedom of expression and the freedom to read a bitch to filth,” Ru explained.
“For this week’s maxi-challenge, you’ll take turns roasting each other at the National Drag Convention.”
While work shopping her jokes, the queen was confident in her performance, saying: “Even though I can’t win a badge, I wanna show everyone that I can still turn this out and win money for my charity. Point blank, period dot com,” she said.
One example was when Gottmik shaded Angeria Paris VanMichaels, saying, “Girl, I’m not gonna stand up here and badmouth you because God already has.” The joke was a twist on Nikki Glaser’s 2016 roast of Jewel.
Another joke taken from Glasser was “I wanna thank you for consistently fighting the war on terrorism" with Gottmik replacing the word terrorism with homophobia.
Gottmik responded to the backlash of the claims via X, writing: “Wait do you guys think everyone wrote their jokes!? loll,” before adding: “Nikki is my queen so reworking a few of her jokes was a DUH for me. Love her.”

One beloved comedy queen Bianca del Rio responded to the tweet by saying “OK” with a thumbs-up emoji.
The reality star made history for being the first transgender man to compete during her run on season 13 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
