The 2025 Grammy Awards are in less week and we are gearing up for the best LGBTQ+ artists to be recognized for their hard work on music’s biggest night!
Several queer artists are up for the top categories of the night including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. Additionally, some of your faves are slated to perform their biggest hits.
Anitta
Brazilian artist Anitta is being nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for her smash album Funk Generation.
Billie Eilish
The nine-time Grammy winner is being honored with seven more nominations. This year she’s up for categories like Album of the Year for the third time for Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Clairo
The Best Alternative Album category at the 2025 Grammy Awards includes Clairo's latest album, Charm, in the nominations list. A LONG overdue nomination for Clairo, but we're glad that it's finally happened.
Chappell Roan
“HOT TO GO!” singer Chappell Roan is nominated for six awards, including some of the biggest of the night like Best New Artist, Best Album, and Song of the Year.
Even more, Roan is set to be one of the must-see performers of the night!
Charli XCX
Charli xcx is up for eight awards at this year’s Grammys including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Guess” with Eilish. The UK pop star started a cultural phenomenon with her “Brat” album.
Doechii
Doechii is a first-time nominee this year. She is up for four nominations including Best New Artist! Her recent hit “Denial is a River” made her a success seemingly overnight.
Doechii will also be a performer during music’s biggest night.
Kehlani
Lesbian singer Kehlani is up for Best Progressive R&B Album for Crash as well as Best R&B Song for “After Hours” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for her feature on Jordan Adetunji's song “Kehlani.”
Troye Sivan
Troye’s “Got Me Started” earned a nomination for Best Pop Recording. This will be his third nomination during his career.
Willow
Another first-time nominee is Willow, who was nominated for Best Arrangement, Instrument, and Vocals. Additionally, she is up for awards for Best Engineered Album and Best Non-Classical Album.
The Grammy Award Show will be held on February 2 and hosted by Trevor Noah. A section of the ceremony will be devoted to raising funds for Los Angeles wildfire relief.
“The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” CBS said in a statement on January 21.
