Say it ain't so! Fans believe another fan-favorite queen has decided to step away from drag. Internet sleuths founds that La Grande Dame’s Instagram profile has been completely cleared of posts.
All except for a promotional pictures and a video for the Drag Race star’s upcoming single, “Parfum Orange” were deleted from her official profile.
In one of the remaining posts, La Grand Dame writes that her music “feels like welcoming [fans] into [her] past like never before, into [her] reality more than ever but even more significantly into what’s ahead."
La Grand Dame originally appeared on Drag Race France season 1 before competing on UK vs The World season 2.
News of La Dame’s potential transition out of the drag scene comes after other notable queens made similar announcements of a step away from drag.
LaLa Ri, who competed on the 13th season of the Emmy-winning reality drag competition and won the title of Miss Congeniality recently updated fans on their decision to focus on projects outside of the drag variety.
"Stepping into this new chapter has been such a wild and thrilling ride," Ri wrote in a caption on an Instagram post. "I may be leaving the drag behind, but trust me, The LaLa Ri Experience is still very much alive and serving!"
Drag Race UK's Krystal Versace announced her hiatus from drag last month, saying in an Instagram story post they needed a break due to burnout and mental health.
"Just wanted to be transparent with you all on here. I'm taking a little break. This year has been intense for me in many ways and I've experienced a lot of burnouts. Society doesn't encourage you about looking after your mental health. In fact, it encourages the opposite, especially in my industry."
