The rumors are running rampant this week that leave fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race wondering if Mama Ru will still be serving as host of the Aussie iterations of the iconic drag competition series.
“Those Australian girls already know [RuPaul] because she judged down there,” Willam said while talking about Down Under star Hannah Conda competing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World season 2.
She continued, “But not anymore, [RuPaul is] leaving, and that’s tea. You heard it from Race Chaser.”
Afterward, Alaska warned fans to “take that [information] with a grain of ketamine.”
Willam is best known for her drama- filled time on season four of RuPaul's Drag Race. She went down as the first queen to leave the competition without losing a lip sync battle or taking the crown, being kicked out of the competition for breaking the rules.
The reason for her shocking elimination and exit is largely unknown to this day.
However, X fan page @ThePopTingz added fuel to the flames when they also published the rumors shared by Willam.

They also added that Michelle Visage is “rumored” to be the new host of Down Under starting with season 4. Again, this is all based on a comment made in passing by Willam on Race Chaser. There are no real or actual reports about RuPaul stepping down from hosting and judging Down Under.
While casting for the upcoming season 4 of Drag Race Down Under is officially open for applicants, and there’s no update about RuPaul stepping down from the series.
Rumour also has it that long-time Down Under judges Michelle Visage and Australian comedian Rhys Nicholson are both said to be reprising their roles.
