Meet Drag Race Germany's historic season 1 winner

Queen Pandora Nox proved to be victorious and was announced as the inaugural season of Drag Race Germany's champion!

Nox’s victory is particularly special as it marks the first time in Drag Race history that a cis woman has won any of the show's iterations.

"It’s really, extremely overwhelming because I’m not just the first winner of Drag Race Germany, but also the first cis woman," Pandora said during her victory speech.

In her confessional, she added "To everybody out there, I think this is the best example that, even if something seems impossible, you can still dream, and dreams sometimes do come true. So, go for it. Thank you."

From the get-go, Pandora became a fan-favorite among her fellow competitors. She won both the mini and maxi challenge in the first episode. She later went on to win the season’s ball challenge, as well as the runway in episode four.

After a final lip-sync to Eurovision icon Conchita Wurst’s song “Rise Like a Phoenix”, Pandora Nox was announced as the official winner. Meanwhile,  Victoria Shakespears won the title of Miss Darling at the reunion and LéLé Cocoon was awarded the title of Fan Favorite on Instagram after the show.

Fans of the iconic drag competition series have seen other cis women vie for the title, including RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. the World star Victoria Scone and Drag Race España queen Clover Bish.

Victoria Scone became the first cis woman to compete on any season of Drag Race but was forced to depart the show due to a knee injury in the season premiere. While Clover Bish exhibited charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, she ultimately placed fifth on Drag Race España in 2022.

Drag Race Germany season 1 is currently streaming on WOW Presents Plus.
