Plastique Tiara has officially dethroned Trixie Mattel as the most followed RuPaul’s Drag Race queen on Instagram, with over 4.3 million followers on the social media platform. At the same time, Mattel still has her cool 4.2 million.
While Tiara may be making noise on Instagram now, it was her TikTok platform that made her go viral. During the pandemic, the queen made a name for herself with her insane transformation videos.
The Vietnamese-American queen was first introduced to audiences as a competitor on season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. While there, she had a rocky run and placed eighth overall.
She later returned to compete on All Stars 9, where she won four maxi challenges, earned four Beautiful Benefactress Badges. Ultimately, she placed 4th-8th.
Plastique tied with Katya for a while at 2.7 million Insta followers, while Trixie was on a social media break. During that period, Trixie became the first Drag Race alum with over 4 million.
Queens Katya and Bianca Del Rio are the next queens with the most-followed ranking, with 2.8 and 2.5 million, respectively.
