The queens are choosing sides in the MIB vs Willam drama

In the world of sequins, stilettos, and sickening lip syncs, its no secret that the drama and shade doesnt always stay on the runway.
Over the years we've seen plenty of feuds and fights between the queens of Drag Race. Now, the queens are publicly taking stances in what is now iconicly being hailed as the “Drag Race Civil War.”
From Yvie Oddly to Silky Nutmeg Ganache, find out how the queens are siding amid the beef.
How did we get here?
The battle began after Willam repeatedly made comments over the last few months, bashing Brooks on her podcast, Race Chaser, and then again in a TikTok video in front of Drag Race fans.
In the audio from the video, Willam is heard telling a group of fans, “The girls don’t like her,” because “she’s a bully, you can’t trust her.”
Willam continued, “I think it translates to the real world too. People want to go and see people that are fun and a good time, not people who are duplicitous and shady and then sit in the background on their phone.”
Chaos ensued when Mistress Isabelle returned Willam’s sentiments in a 15-minute YouTube video. In it, she alleges she has receipts and responded to the Willam’s claims.
“Today we’re going to be reacting to compilations of bullshit and lies from my number one fan, Willam,” Brooks starts off the video. “I’m going to do you a favor, Willam, and I’m going to give you the attention you’ve been craving.”
“Willam is a clout chaser who is desperate for attention. She accuses Willam of lying on podcasts and retelling stories untruthfully. Mistress says, “Willam you have sat there and lied on my name time, after time, after time.” Mistress then said, “I never gave you a response, because it’s f*cking hilarious.”
Willam later retaliated with her own YouTube Video, responding to Brooks' comments and specifically addressing claims that Willam was consumed with the Drag Race franchise to an unhealthy level.
Now, fellow drag queens are slowly choosing sides in the drama.
Acid Betty lashed out at Willam, in a social post, “Mistress Isabelle Brooks told the tea on Willam. Everything she said about that clout chaser was true. So good.” She also reposted a picture of WIllam in blackface, a action she has previously acknowledged and apologized for.
Yvie Oddly addressed the feud in an interview with EW. “It’s funny. This is my favorite drama tea to sip on in the morning. I think they’re all rotted, vile c–ts, and that’s only halfway a joke.” Yvie says.
“It’s strange when the notoriously loud-mouthed, s— starting queens go at each other. We’re at the end of times. We can’t have our fiercest warriors out here battling each other. That being said, I’m team Willam because she’s old and we should support our elders.”
Season 14 queen Daya Betty supported MIB and also called out Willam and Alaska for platforming Shokra and dress-gate without reaching out to Acid to give her side of the story.
Both Willam and Alaska apologized to Acid Betty in their latest Race Chaser podcast for not acknowledging both sides of the story.
Eureka tells her followers, “Working with Mistress was one of my worst experiences and shadiest experiences,” Eureka said in an Instagram caption that Brooks later included in a social media post. “She’s a big fat rat.”
MIstress later responded to Eureka's claims with screenshots of texts alleging Eureka only hits her up asking for money.
“Your selective screenshots just prove I thought you were my sister. I would go through and pull screenshots and do this fight thing with you but you’re blocked,” Eureka responded back. “I really hope you grow up and use your platform for more than you’re using it for now.”
