Queens come together to raise money for Drag Isn't Dangerous auction

Some of your favorite queens from various seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race are coming together to help raise money for charity this LGBTQ+ Herstory Month.

Since the foundation of Drag Isn’t Dangerous in 2023, this will be the organization's second annual charity event. Last year saw the organization completed a live telethon featuring a plethora of drag and celebrity guests.

Since its initial foundation, the establishment has raised over $600,000 for charities to support LGBTQ+ interests.

According to the website, all funds raised from this year’s auction will be distributed between Black Queer Town Hall, Drag Out The Vote, and the Drag Isn’t Dangerous Foundation.

The ACLU reports that there are currently over 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills up for approval across the nation. And upon an imminent election year, now more than ever is the time to rally together in support of the queer community.

A video announcing the charity auction features RuPaul’s Drag Race queens Bob, Katya, Monét, Salina, and Raja. And the auction is set to feature some real treasures from the Drag Race franchise.

Up for the public to bid on is a VIP meet and greet with the DRAG: The Musical cast, two VIP tickets to the Boulet Brothers’ Halloween Ball, and two VIP tickets to Bob the Drag Queen’s This is Wild tour.

Also available are a wig Symone wore during her Drag Race Season 13, Plane Jane’s studded green gown from Drag Race Season 16, Katya’s Versace dress, and Trixie Mattel’s autographed guitar.

You can bid or donate to the cause at Drag Isn’t Dangerous and will be available until October 6.
