RuPaul and Lisa Kudrow to be special guests at HRC's LA Dinner

The Human Rights Campaign revealed this week that drag legend RuPaul and actress Lisa Kudrow will appear at this year’s HRC Los Angeles Dinner.

The event will be held on March 28 and is aimed at celebrating and “bringing together HRC’s most active advocates, members and supporters across the state.” The event will also feature a silent auction hosted by comedian Dana Goldberg to benefit LGBTQ+ equality.

“We are so pleased to host icons RuPaul and Lisa Kudrow, whose talents and brilliance have helped to expand equality on and off screen," said Kelley Robinson, Human Rights Campaign President, in a statement.

"Alongside our honoree, Michael Patrick King — whose work has brought so much joy, laughter and heart to our community — this event will truly be a night to remember."

It was previously announced that Michael Patrick King, Kudrow’s co-pilot on their HBO series The Comeback, which is returning for a third season on March 22, will receive a Visibility Award at the star-studded event.

“As our community faces targeted attacks on our rights and freedoms, it is more important than ever that we come together under the shared mission of building better and brighter futures in California and beyond.

RuPaul's presence is a no-brainer, as he is the embodiment of all things Drag Race. The iconic drag competition series has been gracing our television screens since 2009 and has cemented itself in pop culture history.
