RuPaul crowns Raven a winner in latest All Stars episode

In the latest episode of All Stars 10, viewers saw the infamous Snatch Game where season 3 winner Raja and season 2 runner-up Raven joined the challenge as contestants.

At the end of the game, RuPaul jokingly declared that the winner of the challenge was guest star Raven, granting longtime Drag Race fans what they’ve desperately wanted since Season 2 of the cult drag competition series.

Those who followed the queens from back in RuPaul’s Drag Race season 2 will remember Tyra Sanchez crowned as the winner of the season. Over the years, however, the decision hasn't aged well.

From threatening to “blow up” DragCon in 2018 and spreading false rumors of fellow contestant Morgan McMichaels' passing to making vile comments after the death of Jiggly Caliente and Drag Race UK’s The Vivienne, Tyra has made a name for herself as one of the most controversial winners of the franchise.

Tyra even made RuPaul herself show her claws when the host took to X to post a meme of her slapping Sanchez, filmed on their season.

As a result of the season 2 winner’s bad behavior, fans have long called for Tyra’s crown and title to be stripped from her and given to runner-up Raven.

While not an official passing of the crown, fans are already inducting Raven into the Drag Race Hall of Fame, calling her the REAL winner of season 2.

“PSA!!! Tyra Sanchez has OFFICIALLY been removed from the Drag Race Hall of Fame and the rightful S2 WINNER Raven will be taking her place,” wrote one user on X.

“RuPaul giving Raven the season 2 crown was the best part of Snatch Game,” said another user.

Raven missed out on the crown not only in season 2 but also when she returned for the first season of All Stars, when she lost to Chad Michaels. Since her time on the series, the seasoned queen has become an inspiration on and off the stage.

Her makeup talents earned her an Emmy in 2020 after becoming RuPaul’s official makeup artist for the show.
