The season 16 finale continued with Sapphira Cristal, Nymphia Wind, and Plane Jane as the remaining three queens still in the running for the grand prize.
As fate would have it, the winner of season 16 was revealed to be Nymphia Wind. Her victory means she is the first East Asian winner of the entire series.
Upon winning the coveted title, the newly crowned winner had this to say: “To those who feel like they don’t belong, just remember to live fearlessly and have the courage to live your truth,” she said, before declaring “Taiwan, this is for you!”

Cristal was named runner-up and did not leave the floor empty-handed, walking away with a $25,000 cash tip. Jane landed in third place and left with another $25,000 prize.
As for your Miss Congeniality, fans were surprised with the crowning of not one, but two Miss Congeniality winners! Both Xunami Muse and Sapphira Cristál won the title and each of them received the $10,000 cash tip that comes with the honor!
Season 16 also broke headlines after becoming the series' highest-rated premiere in six years. Deadline later reported that the season’s finale was "the highest-rated episode of Drag Race in 13 years" according to data collected by Nielsen.
Rather than a reunion, the 11 eliminated queens competed in a LipSync LaLaPaRuZa Smackdown for $50,000. After an exciting episode filled with lipsync battles, the Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses for Season 16 was named Miami's Morphine Love Dion.
