RuPaul's Drag Race will return to full length episodes

MTV has announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race will be returning to its original 90-minute episodes.

This news comes after fans complained about the shortened episodes, saying that one hour was not enough to showcase the remaining season 15 contestants skills.

Fans were granted their wish with episodes returning to an hour and a half, starting March 10.

"Get ready, racers. #DragRace returns to 90-minutes starting Friday March 10 at 8/7c on @MTV,” read the statement from MTV on Thursday.

According  to Deadline, the show had been cut shorter to make way for a six-episode reality series called The Real Friends of WeHo.

From the new shows premiere, viewers shared their distain over it cutting into the Drag Race tv block.

As a direct result, season 15 of Drag Race saw scarce mini-challenges, less time for runway segments and even saw the complete removal of judge deliberations.

The queens of season 15 were not shy to share their disappointment in the shortened episodes.

Even 'Real Friends of WeHo' co-star Jaymes Vaughan said: “I would like 120 minutes of Drag Race. If there’s anything I can do to get that, that’s what I would like."

Season 15 saw the largest cast in the shows history. A total of 16 new queens sashayed into the Werk Room. Even more, the grand prize for the seasons winner was increased to $200,000 for the first time ever.

RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 continues Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
