Sasha Colby postpones remainder of Stripped II tour

Sasha Colby is showing us that even the greats need a break. The former Drag Race winner is prioritizing her well-being and has announced she is postponing the remainder of her Stripped II tour.

Colby penned a heartfelt message to fans on Instagram, breaking the news and explaining how she came to the tough choice.

“This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” she shared in a statement on Instagram.

“Since winning Drag Race, I’ve been going nonstop: gig after gig, city after city, saying yes and trying to make the most of every opportunity that’s come my way. As a trans woman of color in this industry, I’ve pushed myself relentlessly, often feeling like I needed to prove that I belong here.

“But the truth is that I am exhausted,” Colby continued. “Twenty-one shows in five weeks took a much bigger toll on me than I expected, both physically and emotionally. My mind and heart are tired in ways I can’t ignore anymore. I’ve always tried to push through, but this time I need to listen to my body and spirit.”

According to Colby, refunds will be processed to those who purchased tickets and affirms that she’ll “be back to make it up to you. But I need to take this time to rest, to recover, and to take care of my mental health.”

“Thank you for your endless love, your compassion, and for holding space for me to be human. I’ll see you soon.”

Colby was on the road with Live Nation’s Stripped II tour, which followed her 2024 North American run of “Stripped.”

The tour details the RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 winner’s humble beginnings and even touches on more sensitive subjects, like her past struggles with addiction,  a topic she has been open about.
