After announcing the debut of a Spanish spinoff earlier this year, the RuPaul Drag Race España finally announced their host. Say 'Hola' to one of Spain's fiercest queens—Supremme de Luxe!
"It is such an honor to welcome Spain to the Drag Race family, partner with Atres, and bring the fierce fabulous glamour of Spanish queens to new audiences around the world on WOW Presents Plus,” said World of Wonder co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey. “In these dark and challenging times we believe people need Drag Race‘s joy, laughter, and heart now more than ever.”
De Luxe is the first solo queen to host a Drag Race spinoff on her own. While this queen is a well-known figure in the Madrid drag community, she has also appeared on stages around the country, on television, and across multiple music releases, including the dance singles "Miénteme" and "Gettin' High."
Recently, De Luxe celebrated her new title on social media. On Monday, she tweeted that she's "Glad to be able to" finally share the news with her fans.
An Instagram account set up for the show says "full availability, judges and more to be announced soon."
Drag Race España will air later this year. It will be joined by Canada's Drag Race season two, Drag Race U.K. series three, All Stars season six, and the debut season of Drag Race Down Under.
