Trixie Mattel hosts Drag Queen Story Hour on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

On an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Trixie Mattel stopped by for a storytime with a group of children, which quickly turned into a troll of Eric Trump’s new book, Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation.

“Do I scare any of you?” Trixie asks the children’s group upon beginning the segment. One of the kids swiftly responded, “No. You just look amazing. Why would that be scary?”

Trixie’s classic sarcastic jests and witty banter made for a hilarious interaction with the

The Drag Race legend had the children pick a book to read, explaining that the goal of a democracy is to "choose one together."

"Because this is, after all, a democracy," she quipped. "As of this morning, it's still a democracy. I'm not sure..."

After persuading them to give the book a chance, the group dives into the read.

“Donald Trump is certainly unconventional. He’s certainly not politically correct. He also has a heart of gold and is the greatest father a son or daughter could ever have,” Trixie reads a passage from the book.

One of the kids chimed in, saying, “OK, Imma stop you right there. Instead of skipping this page, we should skip the entire book. No, instead, we should skip the entire storytime and just go straight to lunch because I’m pretty hungry right now.”

Mattel narrated another passage: “How is it that my father, who spent over four decades in the public eye, never once received a speeding ticket, triumphed in the 2016 campaign and became president of the United States, and was suddenly charged with almost every crime imaginable, and many unimaginable, in the aftermath?”

While one child shared his confusion on the topic, another child erupted, “I would kick him in the [bleep].”

To which the drag queen jokingly exclaimed, “Oh, wow! So, kind of escalating quickly this evening.”

Mattel then threw Under Siege into a trash shredder, putting everyone out of their misery and making “excellent confetti” as the group of children cheered.
