In a surprise treat, Hulu revealed plans for a Huluween Dragstravaganza to kick off this year’s spooky season.
The show surrounds ‘Drag Race’ faves Ginger Minj and Monét X Change after they become trapped inside a television set.
Monét exclaims, "Toto, I don't think we're in West Hollywood anymore." And she would be right. The duo is transported to a creepy setting perfect for conjuring up some spooks.
Ginger finds a book that insists she and Monét must, "Host this variety show or die."
Together with a plethora of special guests, the two decide to put on a dazzling show and “host” their lives.
The Dragstravaganza also introduces legendary drag icons to the lineup. Get ready to see names such as Lady Bunny, Landon Cider, Mario Diaz, Selena Luna, and Jackie Beat, who also co-wrote the special.
Throughout the show, the extensive cast will perform five original musical numbers and act out sketch comedy sets.
Viewers are in for a real treat. The special will also feature a special performance by Kesha, who is seen in the trailer appearing outside a haunted house.
In the past, we’ve seen the streaming service giant release another seasonal drag showcase. The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special was largely praised by viewers. No doubt this Halloween ensemble will meet the same praise from fans.
