RuPaul's Drag Race is coming to Sweden

It looks like “Drag Race” fans just got another spin-off to binge-watch. This time, the competition is coming to Sweden.

World of Wonder co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey revealed in a statement, “Drag Race and the art of drag are worldwide phenomena that continue to attract global viewers, so we are thrilled to introduce a fierce new group of queens with Drag Race Sweden.”

However, details about the new spin-off are slim. Major plans like a host, judging panel, and cast of Swedish queens will be announced in the future.

"As our drag family continues to grow, we look forward to watching these new queens sashay onto our screens, the statement continued."

According to Deadline, Drag Race Sweden will be produced by World of Wonder Productions with RuPaul being one of the executive producers.

Drag Race Sweden joins an ever-growing family of international installments of the reality competition series.

The show was originally launched in the U.S. in 2009. Since producers introduced other versions of the show in the UK, Canada, Thailand, Spain, New Zealand, Holland Drag Race and Italy. The newest introduction, Drag Race UK vs The World, penned queens from global iterations to compete for the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World.”

While fans wait for the exciting release of Drag Race Sweden, they have upcoming seasons of Drag Race Philippines and Drag Race France to hold them over.
